As in not shedding ash and feelings everywhere? I think we all are. But thanks for the assistance on resolving that.

You're close with Strange, yeah? Or, he mentioned you a bit. Do you know if he's doing all right?

As alright as you'd expect.

No! No. He hasn't spoken to me since — uh, not for a couple of weeks, and I'm concerned.

And there's nothing in the nature of that "since" that might mean you'd have to reach out to him. Or does hasn't spoken include not returning your calls?

[ Please imagine John huffing to himself, called out. ]

I wanted to give him some space.

[ Or, he first wanted Takeshi Kovacs' reassurance that it wouldn't somehow be terribly timed. ]

And you wanted me to tell you if he'd had enough of that yet.

I just want to know he's well.

He's functional enough to look well. The rest will take time.
