Is it common to ask so many questions where you're from?

Sometimes. Depending on where and why. I wasn't trying to interview you.

I'd say it was turning more interrogate than interview, but maybe athletes get the thumb screws more often than I realised.

It's near constant, but I wasn't trying to make it feel like an interrogation, either.

Then you can consider it a back-up career choice. If the athleticism doesn't work out.

I could always break into the acting sphere. Cut my teeth in some kind of network procedural. I'll be the tall detective. You can be the one that takes no shit.
